Polymaker PolyMide™ CoPA (Nylon)

PolyMide™ CoPA is based on a copolymer of Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6. The filament combines excellent strength, toughness, and heat resistance of up to 180˚C.

We recommend that the material be used with PolyBox™ (purchased separately) to keep it at dry conditions (relative humidity of 20% or less) at all times to make sure a best printing

Easy to Print: Unlike other Nylon filaments, PolyMide™ CoPA is extremely easy to work with. It is compatible with most filament-based 3D printers with no heated chamber/bed required though for best results we recommend an enclosure and heat bed.

General Printing Settings

Recommended 3D printing temperature
250 – 265 °C (Diameter of 1.75mm)
255 – 265 °C (Diameter of 2.85mm)

Recommended 3D print speed
40 – 60 mm/s

Recommended heated bed temperature
Not required but if equipped we recommend to set the heated bed to 50-70°C

Build platform
To achieve the best first layer adhesion, to the print bed, we recommend you use Masking tape or Blue tape on the bed surface. To get an even better bond, try lightly sand the surface of the tape with a corse sand paper, remove any dust and then apply a thin coat of PVA glue stick to the tape.
